About Habibi Guide

Habibi Guide is an independent travel resource for visitors planning a trip to Dubai. We publish a small, carefully maintained set of evergreen guides — brunch, rooftop dining, beach clubs, neighbourhoods and dress codes — written for first-time and returning visitors who want a clear, honest picture before they book.

How we research our guides

Our guides are grounded in a verified dataset of real Dubai venues — their area, setting, dress code, cuisine and aggregate Google ratings. We write each guide ourselves from that source material rather than republishing listings, and we focus on the things a visitor actually needs: what a place is like, who it suits, what to wear, and how to plan around it.

We follow a few firm editorial principles:

• Aggregate ratings only. We reference overall ratings and review counts, never individual reviews or named reviewers.
• No invented prices. Dubai venue pricing changes often, so we describe broad orientation rather than quoting specific figures — always confirm the current price with the venue.
• Neutral and accurate. We describe views, cuisine, atmosphere, dress and booking. We don’t publish negative claims about specific venues.
• Verify before you book. Details change. Every guide reminds you to confirm directly with the venue, and we note where local factors (such as the Saturday–Sunday weekend, or Ramadan timings) affect your plans.

How often we update

Guides are reviewed on a regular cadence — typically quarterly — to catch venue closures, relocations and other material changes. Each guide shows its last updated date at the top.

How the site is funded

Habibi Guide is free to read. We fund it through display advertising and a small number of relevant affiliate links — for example, hotel bookings and tours and experiences. Affiliate links are clearly disclosed, and using them never costs you extra. We only recommend things that fit the guide; advertising and affiliate revenue never change what we write.
