Habibi Guide is an independent, ad-supported travel guide. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what is and isn’t collected, and your rights.

What we collect

You can read every guide without giving us any personal information — we operate no lead forms, booking forms or consumer contact forms, and never ask for your name or phone number to use the site. The only personal data we ever collect is an email address you choose to give us by subscribing to our optional newsletter. That is double opt-in (you confirm by email) and handled by our email provider; you can unsubscribe from any email at any time.

Cookies & ads

To keep the guides free, we use Google Analytics 4 (to understand which pages are useful) and Google AdSense (to show ads). Both rely on cookies and similar technologies.

• We use Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage denied by default. Analytics and advertising cookies are loaded only after you accept via our cookie banner.
• If you decline (or simply don’t accept), no analytics or advertising scripts are loaded.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no account or contact data, most requests will relate to ad/analytics cookies, which you control through the consent banner and your browser. Third parties

Google processes analytics and advertising data as described in Google’s own privacy and advertising policies. Affiliate partners (see our Affiliate Disclosure) may set cookies when you click an affiliate link.
