Habibi Guide ("we," "us") operates the website at habibiguide.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us about it.

1. What we collect

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for traffic measurement. This service is cookie-less and does not track individual visitors across sites. We see aggregate metrics: page views by URL, referrers, device categories, country.

We use Google Search Console to monitor how the site appears in Google search. This shows us search queries and impressions; it does not identify individuals.

Contact form submissions

If you contact us through the form on the contact page, we receive whatever you submit — your name, email, and message. We use this only to reply to you. We do not add you to a newsletter or marketing list without your explicit opt-in.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter (Beehiiv-hosted), Beehiiv collects your email address and standard subscription metadata. Their privacy policy applies in addition to ours. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Affiliate cookies

When you click an affiliate link on Habibi Guide, the destination platform (Platinumlist, Fever, GetYourGuide, Headout, Tiqets) may set a cookie that attributes any resulting booking to us, so they can pay us a commission. We do not see your personal data from these cookies — we receive aggregate commission reports only.

2. What we don't do

• We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share personal data with third parties.
• We do not use behavioural tracking pixels, retargeting networks, or invasive analytics.
• We do not maintain user accounts. There is nothing to log into.
• We do not store payment information. Habibi Guide does not collect payments — bookings happen on affiliate platforms.

3. Cookies

Habibi Guide itself sets no tracking cookies. Third-party affiliate links may set their own attribution cookies on click; embedded widgets (Tally, Beehiiv) may set functional cookies for their own operation. We do not display ad cookies and do not sell ad space.

4. Your rights

If you have submitted a contact form or subscribed to our newsletter and want your data deleted, email contact@habibiguide.com and we will remove it within 7 days.

5. Children

Habibi Guide covers venues with minimum-age policies (commonly 21+ in the UAE for licensed venues). The site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

6. Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new effective date.
